[Research] Cinnamon for improving glucose and reducing fats

When it comes to managing Type 2 diabetes (or the condition called insulin resistant), a healthy diet and lifestyle is essential.

Yet, supplementing therapeutic dose of natural medicines have strong evidence of positive effects.

Today, I would like to share one of clinical trial using a therapeutic dose of cinnamon.

This research used a total of 60 people with type 2 diabetes, 30 men and 30 women aged 52.2 +/- 6.32 years and randomly divided into groups. Each group received different dose of cinnamon supplements which was 1g, 3g and 6g daily for 40 days.

Results

All groups had positive reduction of

  • Blood glucose level by 18 - 29%

  • LDL (bad) cholesterol level by 7 - 27%

  • Triglyceride level by 23 - 30%

so, wow wow wow.

It's getting cooler and cinnamon would be great addition to your meals.

Yet, sometimes we need them in therapeutic dose to be more effective.

At Hummingbird Health Space, we stock variety of cinnamon supplements to tailor your treatment plan. If you are interested, simply get in touch with us.
